Kerala Automobiles Limited (KAL) was incorporated in 1978 as a Government of Kerala undertaking under the Industries Department. We manufacture Electric Three Wheelers suitable for passenger and goods traffic in the brand name of KERALA. Our vehicles are considered as the Eco-friendliest in the market. We are also the manufacturers of High Precision Aero Space Components for VSSC, LPSC and IISU for their various space programmes. Kerala Automobiles Limited (KAL) started commercial production in the year 1984 with three wheelers powered by 175 cc Two stroke Gasolene engines. In 1991, KAL started commercial production of three wheelers powered by 325 cc Four Stroke Diesel Engines. KAL continued the production of Diesel three wheelers till the year 2019. KAL discontinued the manufacture of IC Engined vehicles since 2019 and ventured into ecofriendly electric vehicles. The Company manufactures Electric Three Wheelers suitable for passenger transportation in the brand name of KERALA NEEM G and goods traffic in the brand name of KERALA GREEN STREAM. KAL actively participates in initiatives aimed at reducing carbon emissions and promoting green transportation.

The vehicle can be charged at an ordinary power plug point, using the charger that comes with the Battery.
It costs only 50 paise per kilometer to run our vehicle. Only 7 units of current is required to fully charge the vehicle. Maintenance cost is also less when compared to fossil fuelled vehicles.
The vehicle is designed for carrying four people including the driver and has a load carrying capacity of around 350 to 400 kg.
A fully charged vehicle will get a mileage of 80 to 100 km for 120 AH Battery under standard test conditions in full load and optimum speed of 30 to 40 kmph.
